Edit the Constitution
The constitution is the rules document that every assistant follows. It is loaded fresh on every turn, so an edit takes effect on the next message with no restart. Use it for the standards you want to hold across all your work: tone, boundaries, and house rules.
Open the editor
Section titled “Open the editor”Go to Settings -> Constitution. The document opens in a rich editor with a table of contents built from its headings, so you can jump to a section.
Make an edit
Section titled “Make an edit”Edit the constitution like any document. Changes save on their own, and the panel shows when the latest edit is saved. Because the document is reloaded each turn, the next message your assistants send already reflects the change.
Keep the constitution focused. It is read on every turn, so concise, clear rules serve you better than a long list.
Add a specialist overlay
Section titled “Add a specialist overlay”A specialist overlay is an addition that applies to one kind of specialist on top of the shared constitution. Use the specialist overlay editor to add rules that should reach only that specialist, leaving the base constitution unchanged for everyone else.
Reset to default
Section titled “Reset to default”If you want to start over, reset the constitution to its default text and build up your rules again.
