Promote a Team to a Standing Company
A team is a group of assistants working one job under a leader. Most teams are ad-hoc: you launch them for a task and let them go. When a team proves its worth, promote it to a Standing Company so the same group stays ready.
When to promote
Section titled “When to promote”Promote a team when you find yourself launching the same group again and again, or when its work is ongoing rather than a single task. A Standing Company persists between sessions and keeps its place in your active-teams area, so you do not rebuild it each time.
Promote it
Section titled “Promote it”- Launch and run the team as usual. See Launch and Run a Team.
- From the team, open the promote option. Wayland checks that the team is eligible first.
- Confirm in the Promote to Standing dialog.
What changes
Section titled “What changes”After promotion:
- The team persists between sessions instead of ending with the job.
- It gets an entry in the active-teams area for quick access.
- It appears as a Standing Company card in the Teams library, separate from ad-hoc teams.
Everything else about the team stays the same: the leader, the specialists, and their models all carry over.
